This is how Climate Change is killing the earth

This is my most recent explanation about climate change and its effects of earth.

Climate Change is killing the earth
Out of all the planets in the Milky Way Earth is by far the best of them all!
It is unlike any other and has produced life to live on it, we call this planet our
home and it has provided us with everything we need to live. Water to drink,
air to breathe, and plants to grow. But this wonderful planet is being threatened
by something known as Climate Change and if we don’t do something about it
fast the place we call home may be destroyed.

So what is Climate Change, and why is it so bad? Well, Climate Change refers
to any significant change in the measures of climate lasting for an extended
period of time, these could be as short as a few decades or as long and as
millions of years. So basically it’s an extreme change in the weather or climate
that lasts a long time. And at first it may not seem like a big deal, but in reality,
it is killing the earth in many different ways.

Did you know that the Earth has gradually been getting hotter and hotter every
year? And that Earth’s average temperature has risen by 1.5 Degrees
Fahrenheit over the past century? This is because of a little something
called Global Warming. This is a type of Climate Change that heats up the
Earth by the release of greenhouse gases, these gases trap heat in the Earth’s
atmosphere which makes it hotter. And ever since humans were added to the
picture the number of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has skyrocketed
because of all the Carbon Dioxide (Co2) we release through the burning of
fossil fuels.

With things like Global Warming on the rise, there are many problems that are
negatively affecting our environment and wildlife. One of the most notable is the
melting icebergs and glaciers. This change in the environment is not only causing
the sea level to rise but is also killing animals that live in places covered in ice like
polar bears who use icebergs as hunting platforms and resting places. But with
Global Warming melting them at an astonishing rate they must swim farther to get
food and rest. Because of this many polar bears are struggling to find food and to
reproduce.

So how can we stop this ongoing planet-warming plant-killing and
civilization-destroying death trap? Well if we stop burning as many fossil fuels as
we do now we can lessen the amount of carbon dioxide released into the air. But
that won’t be enough we still need to get rid of the carbon dioxide that is already
in the atmosphere. This is where the help of trees comes in, you see trees
absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen in return so if we plant millions of
trees in the ground they will deal with the problem for us.

As you can see climate change is affecting the Earth in many different ways
and it is a serious threat to the world we live in. But there is still hope if we
manage to reduce the amount of fossil fuels we burn and care for the
environment then we could stop Global Warming!
