Tiny House

Kia Ora everyone, for my inquiry post today I have visited a site and watch a few videos on tiny houses. My task is to explain weather or not I would live in one and why?

After watching a couple of the videos I instantly new that a tiny house wasn't something that I would like to live in. The reason is because its small size is very restricting and makes it hard to do fun things. You can't run around and play games, you can't have friends over I don't even think one of those houses can fit my family in it! This will be very annoying as well as make things a lot harder.

But that's just my opinion, would you want to live in a tiny house? Tell me in the comments below ↓

Math for the week

For this weeks math room 3 were focused on learning all about 2D shapes

Aviators- Task 2

Here is a Venn diagram I made on two very brave women who have made many long flights solo.

Explorers- Task 1

For this activity I had to name two people I would bring on a journey up Mt Everest. This was a part of our online inquiry work on Exceptional kiwis.

2 people I would take to climb Mt Everest

    1. Apa Sherpa. I chose this man because he has been given the world record of reaching      the summit of Mt Everest more than any other person ( according to google. ) So he would have plenty of experience and knowledge when it comes to climbing Mt Everest.

2. My friend Danny. I would take my friend Daniel or Danny for short because I would want to have a friend with me to talk to and keep me entertained.

That's who I would take on my journey to the very top.

Sporting Heros- Task 1

If I had 3 superpowers for a day this is what they would be...

1. A magic clap- This superpower is my basic do it all power. The way it works is whenever I clap whatever I'm thinking suddenly becomes reality, this can be anything including money, living things, and potatoes. This will also allow me to attack and destroy objects or people. This superpower doesn't allow me to bring the dead back to life!

2. Stable mind- This superpower isn't anything overly dramatic or anything, all it does is give me an insane amount of self-control and blocks out any kind of mind control. I chose this because A magic clap is such a strong superpower it can destroy/ kill basically anything and if anyone were to take control of me or got me so mad I went on a rampage then the entire world would be at risk. This also doesn't allow me to do anything evil unless I have to.

3. An unexpected twist- And my final superpower is one that is specifically made to counteract my weakness of having to clap before I can activate my superpower. It does this by always giving me a chance to clap by creating an unexpected event that saves me or someone else at the last second. This is useful when fighting someone who can hold my hands apart from a distance e.g Green Lantern). This power is activated when I don't want something to happen and doesn't just activate in battle. This is important because I only get 1 day with these powers and I definitely won't want to lose them...

My Favorite game

My favorite game to play is a sport called Soccer/ Football, it is a very popular sport that is played all around the world. It is very fun and fast pace and involves a lot of running and kicking. So how do yo play it? well its like many other popular sports there are two teams and one ball and the objective is to get the ball past the opponents defenses and into there goal but you can't use your hands and if you touch the ball with your hands its a handball and the enemy team get to take a free kick from wherever on the field you touched it. You may use any other part of your body including your head, and chest. Because you can't use your hands in this game you must use your feet to move the ball around. There are three main roles in Football and they are attack (My favorite role), midfield, defense and goalie. Each role has a certain job that they must try to do. Attack is were you go into the enemy defenses to try and get a goal, deference is were you stay on your side of the field and defend the goal from enemy attackers, Midfield is a mix of both they can go up and support the attacker and they can go back and protect the goal and the Goalie is like a defender but they are the only person allowed to use their hands but only is a square that out lines the goal. This is a team based game that relays on not only your own skill but the skill of your team mates as well and is overall a fun and exciting game to play.
